About the Parham Scholar Prize at MIT Sloan
The Parham Scholar Prize at the MIT Sloan School of Management was established by Tony Parham ('90) to celebrate students who exemplify leadership, innovation, and academic excellence. The Parham Scholar Prize was announced at the conclusion of MIT Sloan's inaugural Black Excellence Summit. The prize is consistent with MIT Sloan's mission to develop principled, innovative leaders who improve the world.
Parham Scholar Prize Winners are selected by a prize selection committee which receives nominees from members of the MIT Sloan community. Nominees have a demonstrated record of academic excellence and have shown themselves to be highly effective leaders who bridge cultural divides, foster mutual understanding, and build a more inclusive environment at the school.
